Privacy Policy

RecoveryMax (com.veltoria.filenest)

Effective Date: 28 August 2026

We value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use RecoveryMax ("the App"). If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use the App. By installing and using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described here.

In short: the files the App finds, recovers, and deletes are handled entirely on your device. We never upload, copy, or transmit your photos, videos, documents, contacts, or notification content to any server.

1. Information Collection and Use

To provide the service, the App accesses certain data on your device. That data stays on your device and is not collected by us. The App accesses and processes the following, based on its core functionality and the permissions you grant:

Device Storage and Files

Please note: if you grant MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, we use it for the App's core functionality — file recovery — which requires reaching folders that ordinary apps cannot access, because deleted-file remnants live there. We use this permission only when you initiate a scan, recovery, or cleaning action, and we do not upload your files.

2. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party SDKs that collect technical and usage information:

None of these receive your photos, videos, documents, contacts, or notification content. See Firebase Privacy, Google Privacy Policy, How Google AdMob uses data, and Singular Privacy Policy.

3. Advertising and Advertising ID

The App may display ads served by Google AdMob. Advertising and attribution services may use your device's Advertising ID and limited technical or interaction data to serve and, where permitted, personalize ads and measure their performance. You can reset or delete the Advertising ID at any time in Settings → Google → Ads on your device.

4. Log Data

If an error occurs, we may collect "Log Data" through third-party tools. This may include your device's IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, the time and date of use, and other statistical data. It is used to diagnose problems and improve performance.

5. Cookies

The App itself does not use cookies. Third-party code and libraries integrated into the App may use anonymous identifiers to collect information and improve their services.

6. Sharing Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with unauthorised third parties, except:

7. Security

Because scanning, recovery, and cleaning all run locally, your files never leave your device and are not exposed in transit. Data that is transmitted (analytics and attribution) uses encrypted channels. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided such information, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We recommend reviewing this page periodically. Changes will be posted here, and the effective date above will be updated.

11. Contact Us

If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions about this Privacy Policy, open the App and use Settings → Feedback. Messages sent there reach us directly.
